World Music…. World of Music!

Truly said… music has no barriers. The genre called ‘World Music’ truly supports the statement. Listen to the amazing tracks from any Buddha Bar collection, in one track you are taken through the pyramids of egypt and in the very next you would reach rajasthan. I love the tracks most where you have a mix of indian folk to the electronica, with a backdrop of tabla or ghatams in the background and taking you to the next level is the sarangi with the flutes… to experience this try listenin to Karsh Kale or Tavlin Singh or Nitin Sawhney…

Whenever you are feeling low, turn of the lights, close your eyez, put on your ear phones and try playin a Karsh Kale or a Karunesh track… in sometime, you will find your self floating in music. It works for me… and I bet it would work for any human who has a good ear to music!

"Music has no destination. It's endless. Music is the thing that unites people. There's so much of hatred in the world, that I'm just blessed to be a musician." - A R Rahman
